When The Lights

Go On Again

When Director Nigel Lungley of Suffolk's Stage Door Theatre Company was told by a presenter on BBC Radio to contact Khaki Devil for all the uniforms for his 2006 production of Roy Sault's When The Lights Go On Again he refused to believe that there was anywhere which could provide everything on his lengthy 'shopping' list, let alone a company which was less than half an hour away from his house!

However, he came to our store and was able to hire all the male and female uniforms for all the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Home Guardsmen, Air Raid Wardens, ATS girls, WRNS, WAAFs, Women's Land Army, Women's Voluntary Service, ENSA, German uniforms and many more plus some civilian clothing, rifles for the drill scene and props including a 1930s sofa!

On Nigel's website he says of us, "We are delighted to have made contact with and tied up with those chaps at Khaki Devil. Not only do they do costumes, they also offer lots of advice and are fantastic to deal with. Certainly better than some stuffy theatrical costume companies"

When The Lights Go On Again is a super show (especially the ATS girls getting dressed dance routine!). We would be delighted to help out your production...
