Hiring 'ready made' extras - all kitted out with the correct uniforms, equipment, weapons (all de-activated under Section 8 of the Firearms (amendment) Act 1988), period haircuts, and with a sound knowledge of foot and weapons drill, can save a great deal of time, organisation and money on any production.
We have a very good resource of men capable of representing soldiers, sailors and airmen properly, from every period of British Military history from the Boer War through two World Wars to National Service in places such as Korea and Malaya as well as peacetime both at home and abroad. For major production where there is a requirement for hundreds of extras our Specialists form a backbone of knowledge that ensures the rest of the extras remain properly dressed and historically accurate throughout shooting.
