Private Peaceful
The success of 'Warhorse' at the National Theatre has contributed to renewed interest in other works by author Michael Morpurgo.
Simon Reade's adaptation of Morpurgo's novel Private Peaceful is no exception and was performed by Robson Green on Radio 2 in the autumn of 2007. Written as a one-man play, it also lends itself to a larger casting as the character Tommo Peaceful plays many parts during the performance.
Whichever direction you choose to take, Khaki Devil will be pleased to provide the costumes required, and can even supply a Great War army bed, which provides the only set required for the play.
