Oh What A Lovely War
Oh What a Lovely War has often been claimed to be one of the most important post war pieces of theatre. This may, or may not, be true, however it has been a perennial favourite for amateur performers over the years and remains a very popular production.
The original production was performed in Pierrot costumes although the popularity of Lord Attenborough's screenplay for the film prodduction persuaded some designers to dress the cast in military uniform: others stage the musical in an amalgamation of the two. Whichever combination you decided on, we can provide the costumes as well as the necessary equipment and props to help make your 'Lovely War' one to remember.
Whether you need our full package or just the hard-to-find props such as Great War stretchers, field telephones, small dog (on wheels!), parasols, shooting sticks, authentic Union flags and, of course, Lee Enfield rifles.
We can also supply a CD of the 26 photographs and posters required for the big screen throughout the performance.
