Inside Out;

The Battle of Arras

The Battle of Arras in April 1917 saw the heaviest day-by-day British casualties of any battle in the whole of the First World War although most British people have never heard of it.

Taff approached BBC East's 'Inside Out' team with a proposal to mark the occasion and tell the story of the men of 2nd Battalion, The Suffolk Regiment who fought in the battle.

The resulting ten minute film, featuring The Khaki Chums, was screened in October 2007 and is a great tribute to those men of the Regiment and to a forgotten chapter in British military history.
