Equipment
We have a vast knowledge of the correct equipment worn from 1899 to the present. Much of this equipment is now incredibly scarce and far too valuable to use in film and television work. Therefore we have started to remanufacture many different sets of equipment from this period.
One example was the reproduction sets of 1914 Pattern leather equipment made for the men who took part in the BBC2 series 'The Trench'. Over 30 sets were made - to very high standards in little over five weeks.
We have also made several sets of 1888 pattern 'Slade Wallace' equipment of the kind worn during the Boer War. Again, this equipment has been made to the exact specification of the original.
Although our historical advice covers the period 1899-1960 we can supply items of uniform and equipment for earlier and later periods. For instance, we can equip British soldiers of the Falklands Campaign and both Gulf Wars.
We are always happy to undertake the supply of equipment, no matter how obscure. From common 1937 pattern webbing to the almost-impossible-to-find Australian 1915 pattern (above) - we are happy to supply whatever you may need.
