Dad's Army
2008 saw the 40th anniversary of David Croft and Jimmy Perry's popular TV series. We have recently had great fun reproducing the costumes for Calibre Productions' very successful national tour Dad's Army: The Lost Episodes, and a fresh tour is planned for August 2009 with four fresh episodes.
Apart from the 1937 Pattern Battle Dress uniforms we enjoyed reproducing the original details such as Pike's distinctive scarf, Jonesy's impressive collection of medal ribbons, and Godfrey's medical bag and armband. We also now have the Morris Men's outfits for the 'Godiva Affair', including the hobby horse!
