Dad's Army
2008 also sees the 40th anniversary of David Croft and Jimmy Perry's popular TV series. We have recently had great fun reproducing the costumes for Calibre Productions' very successful national tour Dad's Army: The Lost Episodes, which has been extended for 16 more weeks.
Apart from the 1937 Pattern Battle Dress uniforms we enjoyed reproducing the original details such as Pike's distinctive scarf, Jonesy's impressive collection of medal ribbons, and Godfrey's medical bag and armband. We are currently working on the Morris Men's outfits for the 'Godiva Affair', including the hobby horse!
