Black Watch
Khaki Devil would love to have been involved with Black Watch, Gregory Burke's innovative work which won the 2007 Writers' Guild Award in the Best New Play category.
Theatre critic Ben Brantley at the New York Times, included Black Watch in his list of his 10 most important plays of 2007 following its opening in the USA: "BLACK WATCH is a Scottish regiment's-eye view of the war in Iraq that takes the audience to the battlefield with a poetic power beyond the grasp of journalism or television".
In our opinion, once the rights are released, Black Watch would be a very exciting project for a bold company looking for a new production and Khaki Devil look forward to assisting such a company with the modern uniforms and equipment required for this play.
